Isle of Palms (SC) had 9 single family detached homes sell during August with an average sales price of $969,555 and median price of $750,000. This was a 10% decrease from sales in July with a 1.35% decrease in median price. The average number of days on market was 243 with an 88% sale to list price ratio. For every home sold in August, 3.11 homes were newly listed for sale. At the end of August, there was 26 months of home inventory; six months inventory is considered a balanced market.
Only one of the homes sold on Isle of Palms in August was located in Wild Dunes. As of September 22, 2009, there has been a 67% increase in sales over the same time period from last year. Isle of Palms currently has 189 single family detached homes actively listed for sale.
