Mt. Pleasant had 88 single family detached homes sell during September with an average sales price of $436,340 and median price of $383,750. This was an decrease over August sales with a 22.5% decrease in average sales price and a 2.7% decrease in median price. The average number of days on market (DOM) was 91, decreasing over August's DOM of 92. On average, homes sold for 92% of the list price. For every home sold, 1.74 homes were newly listed for sale. At the current rate of sale, it would take approximately 12.63 months to deplete home inventory; six months inventory is considered a balanced market.
Park West had the most sales of any Mt. Pleasant neighborhood with 16 sales. Overall, Mt. Pleasant home sales for 2010 were up 26.02% over sales for 2009. There are currently 832 single family detached homes listed for sale in Mt. Pleasant.
