Mt. Pleasant Home Sales June 2010
Mt. Pleasant had 112 single family detached homes sell during June with an average sales price of $422,344 and median price of $382,000. This was an increase over May sales with a 10% increase in average sales price and a 19% increase in median price. The average number of days on market (DOM) was 87, decreasing over May's DOM of 107. On average, homes sold for 95% of the list price. For every home sold, 1.53 homes were newly listed for sale. At the current rate of sale, it would take approximately 10.5 months to deplete home inventory; six months inventory is considered a balanced market.
Park West had the most sales of any Mt. Pleasant neighborhood with 23 sales. Overall, Mt. Pleasant home sales for 2010 were up 32.77% over sales for 2009. There are currently 897 single family detached homes listed for sale in Mt. Pleasant.
