About Charleston Realtor Debbie Donovan
As a community minded and dynamic residential Realtor, my intention and commitment is to be an invaluable resource for buyers and sellers in the Charleston SC real estate market, specifically the East Cooper communities of Mt. Pleasant, Isle of Palms, and Daniel Island.
I bring a unique history and skill set to my work as a Realtor. Having worked with children diagnosed with emotional and behavioral issues for numerous years, I possess a great deal of patience and insight into the human experience. I value personal relationships and individuality and approach each client and transaction with this in mind. In addition, my work as a ropes course facilitator has allowed me to adopt a solution focused approach to life, develop exceptional communication skills and a knack for creativity.
I am extremely hands on and love coming up with original ways to market properties. I offer an aggressive, customized and highly visible marketing plan for each and every listing. My goal is to gain each property listing as much as exposure as possible by utilizing a systematic web strategy and an extremely efficient assistant.
I believe in maintaining a high level of professionalism and continually seek ways to keep myself better informed and better educated. My education and accomplishments include:

I believe Realtors should play a vital role in improving the quality of life in their communities. This allows me to integrate community service, charitable contributions and public education into the fabric of my business. Since 2006, I have served on the Housing Opportunities Committee at the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors and am currently serving as Chair.
I pride myself on providing top notch service to my clientele. This is what they have to say.
“We’ll start off by saying we are happy with our home. Finding a home is an emotional process. You need someone to guide you through the “we love this place”, “we’ll take it.” You need someone who is thinking about your best interest. Debbie was there from start to finish; she explained it all. She was not worried about the sale, anyone can do that that. Anyone can find a house. She knew what finding a “home” meant to us. She made a scary, stressful situation easy for us. We told her our dream/what we wanted and she made it a reality. Finding the right home takes patience and professionalism. She is that and more. Many people would try to quickly put you in a place to make a commission. That’s not Debbie. She cares. Almost a year after our purchase, Debbie is still working for us. She has kept us informed of new regulations affecting our home warranty, just to name one example. We will never use anyone else for our home shopping needs.” S. Murrell
"Buying a home can be overwhelming at times. Debbie provided the best possible service and expertise throughout the whole buying process making the experience a good one. She stayed on top of the entire transaction ensuring a smooth purchase. I always felt secure and extremely well represented. Thanks Deb!" -- R Tully

Charleston has been home to me since the late 80’s, living here at different times but always returning. I have lived in McClellanville, West Ashley, and the Isle of Palms. I currently live in Mt. Pleasant with my husband Robert, Siberian Husky Bandit and Chocolate Lab J.D.
