September is Healthy Aging Month
Healthy Aging involves more than maintaining our physical health and no one knows this more than the wonderful personnel at the Lowcountry Senior Center.Located on Riverland Drive, the Lowcountry Senior Center is managed by Roper St. Francis Healthcare. It provides services designed to enrich the lives of adults 50 and older and offers a wide variety of programsand activities targeting wellness, education, fitness, recreation, and volunteer services.The programming at the Lowcountry Senior Center is based on the integration of mind, body, and spirit and incorporates six dimensions of wellness which include emotional, intellectual, physical, social, spiritual, and vocational.
